In a coffee grinder, grind the following ingredients together:
5 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
1 large bay leaf
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp mustard seeds
1 small (1 ½ inch) cinnamon stick
Add to the above mixture:
2 tsp turmeric powder
