Hung Yogurt

Why Hung Yogurt?

Hung yogurt makes a tasty substitute for cheese, and is easy to make with freshly prepared yogurt.


1 ½ cups freshly prepared yogurt

3 Tbs MA390 (powder)

½ tsp powdered cumin

1 pinch powdered ginger

1 pinch black pepper

rock salt to taste


Mix yogurt with MA390.

Place in muslin cloth and hang over bowl overnight.

Discard water in bowl after hanging.

Remove cheese from cloth and put in clean bowl.

Stir in spices; add rock salt to taste.

Helpful Tip:

For best flavor and food value from cheese, add spices just before eating.
